The Hinsdale Food Pantry was opened at the First Congregational Church of Hinsdale by a dedicated team of volunteers over 40 years ago and has been feeding families in Hinsdale and its surrounding towns ever since. In 2021, it moved to its current location and became its own 501c3 nonprofit organization in November 2022. We are 100% volunteer-run and are funded solely via donations and grants.

Our mission is to provide food and personal care items to individuals and families living in Hinsdale, Peru, Middlefield, Worthington, and Washington, Massachusetts. We strive to collaborate with local community members, leaders, and businesses to alleviate food insecurity in our town and neighboring communities.

Our devoted team of volunteers, led by Volunteer Director Deb Pratt, runs every aspect of our organization's operations, including food ordering, pickup, distribution, and more, with the help of our Board of Directors.
